Znz’s Sis’ Wedding

Congratulation to Zaniza’s (Aniz or Ayong) sister for their wedding on Sunday 26/7! Wish them a very happy family!

The function was held at Kg. Birau, Tutong. This was where my grandmother from my father’s side lived. It was coincidence that the home was not far to the wedding function.

The Tutong Trip members were Azmi, Asri, Azam and me and we all met at JP around 1130. DD & Mimit couldn’t attend the function. We followed Azam’s car to the function.

First, going to the destination, we used the old road which my family always used whenever we went to visit our grandmother. I think this road was the fastest although quite narrow since my family prefers using this road.

We missed the ‘Simpang’ to the home at first because Azmi lost focused into a magazine. We found it easily after turning back. We met Milin as soon as we parked our car. He also came for the function because they were relatives.

We sat at the ‘Kem’, wait, shake hand with the ‘Wakil’ and then as usual the meal. After the meal, the male family came. I thought Aniz became the ‘Pengapit’ so we thought we couldn’t meet her.

However, Asri brought us to see the Bride & Groom so we went to the house. We clashed with Aniz outside the house and she brought us close to the ‘Pelamin’. We were shy to go in so we just stayed outside for picture and talked with Aniz.

We decided to go home and Azam followed the Keriam way to the highway. I think it was longer although you can drive fast at the highway. We didn’t stop by other places after the function but just went straight to JP and then home.
