IPA Badminton

IPA Badminton returns! Well, last time under Asri & my request, Azam, Mur, Fuze and Hanif went for badminton back to IPA! It was training for Asri and me but also a test run for my racket! But last Tuesday, 24/2, Azmi & Mur made a plan for badminton at IPA for everyone! It has been a very long we didn’t play at IPA.

The pro, Azmi, was back! Azmi and Chad used to teach me with basic skill in badminton but since there were more and more badminton players joining, I didn’t have a chance to practice with them. Azmi & Chad played badminton very frequent but at Lumut.

Asri, Sanul, Zalee and others couldn’t join the badminton so it was just me, Azam, Azmi, Mur and Fuze. The KB Pandan Badminton last time was more like the old times with many of us. Azam took me from home at 9 since my car was repaired. Then, we went to IPA straight and joined Azmi, Mur & Fuze who were waiting there already.

There were many people at the IPA beside us but they were tolerating type so we didn’t have much trouble with waiting turn. I played two games and still not as tired as last time. I felt excited and learned more. 'Coach' Azmi taught me how to count 15-score match and I also familiarize with 21-score from Azam. I went for a single training lesson with 'Coach' Azmi and Azmi taught me a lot on right side hit, shot to back and alternate serve.

We realized that each of us were using Yonex Carbonex racket! It made us Carbonex gang! If Asri was here too, then another Carbonex member! Nice isn’t it?

We played until 1AM this time since we needn’t to worry about girls. As usual, we went to Liyana, the 24-hour restaurant to have Nasi Katok and cold water there until 3. A good badminton lesson that day ended there when we dismissed.
