(Labi Revisited – A house somewhere to Labi)
No, we didn’t go to the Wasai Wong Kadir this time. Last year our reason was to visit Wasai Wong Kadir but this time, we aimed to G-Raiz’s deceased grandmother’s house. It was already old and left deserted for more than a year. This house was unique for its old, classic and kampong architecture, great for photos background!
At first, we passed the entrance to the house so we had to turn back at someone’s home. We parked our car at the side of the road and found out that the path to the house was already covered fully by bushes. It was no one ever went in there. We discussed on going through or find alternative places. When suddenly something happened!
Ambushed! Crime caught on my camera!

The driver lost! Next it’s a thriller movie scene! Close your eyes!

We ran for our life from the two killers and failed to save the driver. Sober. Huh? Yeah, I know, I’m just kidding. Why would the driver be smiling when someone attacked him? *LOL*
After the unsuccessful act, Sanul & G-Raiz decided to walk through the bushes. Of course, we got ‘parang’ (machete) so we could use it to cut down bushes that get in the way. The bushes were combination of normal grass, lemon grass, love grass, shy grass, mud, leaves and branches. (Urgh! What a hard time!) Hence, we were walking over the bushes.
We reached the house and unfortunately, the stair and the kitchen portion of the house were already removed so we couldn’t get in the house. Anyway, I wouldn’t dare to go in when everyone went in. Adding more to the worse, it started to rain, so we decided to give up the attempt.
There was change in plan so we we went back and talked about it. Zali thought of the Kuala Balai but we decided to go to the Luangan Lalak first which was nearby.

Shy grass? What’s that? Actually it’s that plan with thorn and if you touch the leaves, the leaves will closed as like it was shy. Malay called it “semalu” but I just made up it’s name because I forgot the real name.
Love grass is that annoying grass which ‘stick’ a spike thing to your pants or trousers and even jeans when you walk pass it. *annoyed* I had to take it out one by one when going back to the car. Malay called it “rumput sundal”.
Lemon grass looks like the ordinary grass but much longer and lighter in colour. This lemon grass or a.k.a. “lalang” can caused a cut because it actually has a very small spiky “fur” at its surface.
