2 Days of Raya

It was already three days of raya! So fast or so slow? I think in this 2 days, I felt like I had met many family & relatives. I managed to get $40 angpow total for this 2 days =)

'Usual 1st day of raya'
Well for the 1st day of raya, I only visited our close family in Muara and close relative in Tutong. Nothing much, just like usual raya. We ate a lot while in Tutong because 3 houses gave 'makan'.

'The house we go to, go to our house'
Then on the 2nd day of raya, we visited our relative in Muara only but then everyone also planned on going to visit their relative in Muara. Everyone thought the same plan on the 2nd day. So we only managed to visit 2 houses who also planned on going out for raya. Haiz! We have to go back home & waited for guest for this 2nd day.

'My cousin going back to UK tomorrow'
My cousin, Liya will be going back to UK tomorrow! So our 'Tangah' made an open house today! So Liya could met her family, relatives and friends on this day. So sad she could only raya here in Brunei for 2 days. We came to our Tangah open house after we went from the 2 houses before. I like the daging urat! ;) My Tangah always served it every year. Anyway, I wish Liya good luck & take care there again.

'Welcome to my home'
Another half of the 2nd day of raya we just stayed at home to wait for guest. Our relative from Seria, my uncle from Tutong and also many relatives from the Muara area were on the run of raya so we knew they might be going here soon! Yes, our uncle from Tutong (1 cars full) came, as well as our relatives (2 cars full) from Kapok. Then came our relative from Seria (6 cars full!) to our home! Wow it was so gala, cheerful & the merriest for this year (last year was during my open house)! My close cousins also came after the Seria relatives, then some other relative also came to our home today. Nice to stay at home sometimes.

'The cakes & cookies'
Some cakes & cookies were bought from my mother's friends but also made by my mother as well as our cousins & Aunt. The only cakes & cookies my mom made with my sis were the Chocolate Chips, the famous Kuih Mor (two types), the never missed Biskut Oat, the two types of Pineapple Tart, the should not be forgotten Kek Kemenyan and the simple but ok Biskut Telur Rebus.

For the bought cakes & cookies, the famous common Kek Tapak Kuda, Monte Carlo Cake, Cheesecake, Kek Mata Kucing, Biskut Lady Pink, Biskut London Almond, Biskut Marmar, Chocochips & Pecan Nuts Cookies and the see for yourselve cookies & cake. *lol* Am I talking about foods again!? Wah! I should stop. Just promoting =P
