The Sunrise

Bored? Why not go for sunrise? Well I had tried sunset already before with others e22 but Yong & Asri came up with sunrise idea. It was like a challenge because sunrise is early in the morning. I’m sure none of us like to wake up early or be awake for the whole night to morning. What’s so special with sunrise? Enjoy the changes from darkness into day at the beach is cool!

Aniz gave an information that we could see sunrise at Pantai Jerudong so at 4/12/08 we went for chilling out until midnight then continue for the whole night at Fullcan then Liyana and at 3.30AM of 5/12/08, we went to the Pantai Jerudong. We offered others but only Azmi responded and joined us.

We went together to the beach and sit as well as lie on the stone. It was calm and cool! Really relaxing! Although it was dark, luckily there are not many mosquitoes. We had a talk on our ITB life from semester 1 to 5. Reminisce of the happy, sad and funny story of the past. We had reached the end and we talked about it. What will lies ahead? What will we do for the future?

We talk and talked until we forgot to look the horizon for the sun. Then we realized that the knowledge on Geography especially on Brunei was important but we didn’t apply here! Well, let’s make it simpler by saying that we were lost in direction. Sun rise at East and set at West. Got what I mean? We watched sunset at Empire which is the same direction we faced at Pantai Jerudong. So then, sunrise should be on the opposite direction!

Yup, we couldn’t see the sun went up. Nevermind because we had fun. This is our first time together didn’t sleep for the whole day! Next time, if you want to see the sunrise, you better got to Pantai Serasa because it faced the East or go to Bukit Shahbandar and see the sun rise from the top!
