AJK ECE 22 Dinner

The ECE 22 Appreciation Dinner was successful and thanks to everyone who make it possible!

First of all, the AJK’s: Yani, Radi, Chiemz, Lucy and Azmi for organizing the events together as a team. Next, special thanks for the performer; thanks to Mr. PE and all the dancers: Nadia, Lucy, Yani, Aniz, Chiemz, Asri, Fauzee, Mahrin, Azmi and especially Wiwie who volunteered to help us! Gratitude & congrats to Radi to be our successful MC of the night!

Thanks also go to Mur, Lucy, Nadia and Mahrin for providing their home for the practices and also for their ‘home service’ especially foods & drinks. Not to forget Sanul, Sazali, G-Rais, Edy and Mur for their wonderful photos! Together, almost none of wonderful moments were missed! Also, thanks to Salmi for the videos and Athari & Azam for controlling the PA System and let the music flow of the events to be ordered!

Oh I guess I’m still talking about the dinner for this new month of the year 2009. Of course, it is unforgettable! We missed the time we spent together during practices. Therefore, we, the dancers made appreciation dinner for the dancers and our choreographer Mr. PE! Though it was quite a mini-celebration for us (a normal dinner on normal restaurant), the most important were to gather again and celebrate together!

The celebration was on Saturday, 2/5/09, 7.00PM at Mutiah Restaurant in Kiulap. It was $6 buffet but quite satisfying. Due to the budget, we have limited the guests. Since it was an appreciation to Mr. PE, he and us, the 10 dancers must be in. We invited Radi because he was the AJK and MC. We put the two PA’s in the list for controlling our show during rehearsal & actual. We also took Mur because we were using his home before. Therefore, we took 14 who were known by Mr. PE.

I confirmed the dinner on the Friday 1/5 night which was quite late. I booked in the morning of the Saturday 2/5 before the dinner. Luckily we still got place for reservation. Azam, Mur & Fauzee were the earliest to come and then followed by me, Asri, Azmi and Aniz. Finally at almost 8, Nadia, Mahrin, Lucy, Khalid, Yani, Athari, Radi and Mr. PE arrived. Wiwie wasn’t able to attend so we replaced her with Khalid.

No Mi! No!

No speech and souvenirs but happy & friendly talks, jokes and chats. It is the time together becomes the gift. There were many people (families) having their gathering at the restaurant so we have to limit. We finished the dinner after 930 and had a group photo session outside Mutiah.

After the group photo session, we hang out near our cars talking on various stuffs while deciding on what to do next. Yani & Athari decide to watch Wolverine but some of us have watched it. The decision took longer than expected therefore, our activities after the dinner was actually the talking and deciding! =P

Everyone went back while Asri, Azam, Mur, Fau and me went to Kianggeh to chill. However, there were a lot of cars there so we changed to Farmbasket until the shop closed. We talked for a while before we went home.
