ECE 22 Sungkai Out

Some of us may wonder: “Why there was no sungkai out all ECE 22 this year?” Well, the answer is: there was! It was on Monday 7/9, during the Nuzul Al-Quran public holiday. The venue was the Big Papa in Kiulap for $8.

Yes, true. Not many able to join the sungkai gathering and some were even not yet informed. ^^ Anyway, the plan was made late like two days before the sungkai out so to some; it was quite a short time to confirm and reschedule. It’s fine to miss the sungkai out this year. Hope we won’t miss the ECE 22 raya together then.

Actually, at first, the ECE 22 sungkai out was proposed to be on Saturday 13/9 by Yani but Asri & few of us had plan to go to Miri that 13/9. I remembered Vincent who has to go UK this Friday 18/9 so both of us planned to have the sungkai out early. Our 1st choice was the Au Lait which offer BBQ foods for $16 but then since it going to be for everybody, so we go for budget. Hence, we selected Big Papa in Kiulap because it was more space out and cheap.

Most of us couldn’t join the sungkai so finally it left 10 of us: Chiemz, Vincent, Asri, Azam, Fauzee, Mur, Ho, Chad, Bong and Wong. Not to be racist but it was a group of 5 Malay and 5 Chinese. *lol* Of course, the sungkai gathering was to commemorate Vincent going to study at UK soon then.

Big Papa’s 5 Customers…

Well, the food wasn’t so great so it was kind of disappointment a bit but we were having a good time and comfort. We stayed until 8PM and then decided to make a separate ways. The Chinese went to the Rain Forest (RF the so-called “Bong’s second home”) to play L4D while us the Malay went to watch movie Final Destination 4 (Mur requested for it although I planned to wait for Ayong). It was quite a long time didn’t watched movie.

Oh yeah Final Destination 4! I hate thriller and violence movies but I think Final Destination 4 wasn’t in that categories. There was no brutal killing, gushing of blood and cruelty. Every dying scene was accidental and most (not all) of the ‘gross’ image was quick. The storyline was cool! By the way, I have never watched the first 3 before though.
